Maersk Oil - Chissonga Field Development

The Chissonga field is located in the western part of Block 16, 130 kilometers (km) offshore from the Soyo beach crossing, in a water depth ranging from 1,200 meters (m) to 1,500 m.
It is Maersk Oil's most important project in Angola. The Chissonga reservoir comprises four strati-graphic layers with the hydrocarbon accumulation covering an area of approximately 175 km. Following successful appraisal, the optimal development concept is currently being matured.
