QAFCO 6 - Ammonia and Urea Complex Expansion

Qatar Fertilizer Company (Qafco) plans to expand its ammonia and urea complex in Messaied Industrial City. The sixth-phase expansion of the complex is aimed at installing production capacity of 3.1 million tonnes a year (t/y) of granular urea, one of the most common types of fertiliser.
