QRC - Doha Metro Network - Green Line Extension Phase 1A
The Doha Metro is an integral part of the Qatar Rail Development Program (QRDP). Consisting of 4 lines, the Metro network will cover the Greater Doha area and will include connections to town centres and vital commercial and residential areas throughout the city. In central Doha, the Metro will be underground, whilst in the outskirts; it will mainly be at ground level or elevated.
Qatar Railways Company (QRC) intends to add a new section to the Doha Metro Network - Green Line. The Green Line Extension Phase 1A involves the construction of approximately 10 kilometres of tunnel and 10 kilometres of above-ground track.
