The King Fahad Medical City expansion transforms the 1,395-bed medical campus into a regional destination for diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitation healthcare services with the addition of a 473,000-square-foot, 231-bed, state-of-the-art cancer and proton beam therapy center; a 368,000-square-foot, 316-bed neuroscience institute; an 120,000-square-foot, 48-bed cardiovascular center; a 243,400-square-foot, six-story laboratory and office building; and a 60,000-square-foot central energy plant.
