Seera City Real Estate Development Company - Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) - Knowledge Economic City - Overview

In order to establish an economically feasible mechanism for knowledge-based industries within the Kingdom, Seera City Real Estate Development Company has come up with a plan to build a new city on the outskirts of Madinah. To be known as Knowledge Economic City (KEC), it will serve as an alternative central business district for the city as well as a prominent tourist attraction. Within the city will consist of a Medina Down Town project.

The city will be built under the supervision of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA). Along with Seera City Real Estate Development Company, a consortium of developers is involved in the city's construction. They are as follows:
