ExxonMobil - Chemical and Refining Integrated Singapore Plant (CRISP) Project

The Singapore Refinery is a world-scale refining complex across two sites - one on the mainland (Jurong) and another on Jurong Island (Pulau Ayer Chawan or PAC). Together with the Singapore Chemical Plant, they form the largest integrated ExxonMobil manufacturing complex in the world.

ExxonMobil is planning on expanding the clean fuel and lubricant output of its Singapore Chemical Plant.

With base oil being the raw material used in machinery motor parts, the expansion would enable ExxonMobil to introduce a new high-viscosity base stock to the market.

The expansion will boost the production capacity of cleaner fuels with lower sulfur content by 48,000 barrels per day (bopd), and lubricant base stocks by 20,000 bopd.

The project is the latest in a series of recent ExxonMobil investments in base stock production in Singapore.
