Pertamina - Lawe-Lawe - Centralized Crude Terminal

Pertamina plans to build a $300 million centralized crude terminal (CCT) in Lawe-Lawe, East Kalimantan, on a land area of 1,100 hectares (ha) owned by Pertamina. It will have a storage capacity of 25 million barrels (mmbbl), Includes a pipeline with a length of between 80-100 kilometers (km) from CCT to Bontang Refinery. The crude terminal will serve as temporary storage of fuel produced by Bontang Refinery and Balikpapan Refinery.

Pertamina will expand the construction of a crude oil terminal in Lawe-Lawe, North Penajam Paser Regency. In the Balikpapan Refinery Development Master Plan (RDMP) project, a 'Single Point Mooring' (SPM) with a capacity of 320 deadweight tonnage will be built, which functions to receive crude oil supplies from tankers. Crude oil from SPM will be stored at the Lawe-Lawe Terminal and distributed to Pertamina's refinery in Balikpapan. The Lawe-Lawe Terminal will act as an area for receiving, storing, and distributing crude oil to Pertamina's refinery in Balikpapan.
