ONEE - National Integrated Wind Energy Project - Midelt Wind Power Plant

As part of the Moroccan Integrated Wind Energy Project, the Office National de l'Eau et de l'Electricit (ONEE) has planned the construction of five wind farms with a total capacity of 850MW in different locations. The Midelt wind plant is part of the program and is expected to have a capacity of 180 megawatts (MW). The developer will design, finance, construct, operate and maintain the wind farm as an independent power producer (IPP) and the project will help increase the share of Moroccan electricity consumption from renewable sources to 42% by 2020.
