ONEE - National Integrated Wind Energy Project - Tiskrad Wind Power Plant

The Office National de l'Eau et de l'Electricite potable (ONEE) is planning the construction of a wind farm located in Tiskrad, near Laayoune city, with a capacity of 100 megawatts (MW). The project is part of the Moroccan Integrated Wind Energy Project consisting of the development of 850 MW of wind energy in the country. The developer will design, finance, construct, operate and maintain the wind farms as an Independant Power Producer (IPP). This project will help increase the share of Moroccan electricity consumption from renewable sources to 42% by 2023.
