ONEE - National Integrated Wind Energy Project - Overview

As part of the Moroccan Integrated Wind Energy Project, the Office National de l'Electricite et de l'Eau potable (ONEE) is planning the construction of five new wind farms with a total capacity of 850 megawatts (MW) at the following locations: Midelt, Boujdour, Tanger, Jbel Lhadid and Tiskrad. The project will be developed under Independent Power Production (IPP) scheme and will help increase the share of Moroccan electricity consumption from renewable sources.
